The pattern was in Quilts and more… Winter 2008
Straight to the Point by Anne Moscicki.
It looks complex, but this quilt is deceitfully simple to construct. It’s made of two favorite blocks – Nice Patch and Hourglass. You add an unregimented mix of fabric placement and get a knockout quilt!
The fabrics she used in her quilt were Bistro, Urban Couture & Daydreams.
Fabric requirements: 6 1/4 yards
Finished quilt: 63 1/2″ x 81 1/2″
Skill Level: Easy Piecing

Loraine said she finished the quilt last Sunday, Jan 11th. and was probably the quickest she ever completed a project. She ordered the kit on Sunday the 4th, received it on Wed, the 7th, cut it out that night and finished it Sunday the 11th. (Plus didn’t get a chance to touch it on that Friday since because she had grandkids for the day)!! It turned out great, and she already gave it as gift.
WTG – Loraine – very cool quilt!!

Lis made this cute baby quilt out of five different denim fabrics. It’s made out of 7″ squares and sewn together in strips. The back and binding are flannel. The finished size is apprx: 36″ square perfect for baby!

My customer Pam made this very beautiful quilt using Clothworks Sunwashed fabrics:

PALS member Sue made two really cute baby charitable quilts using this pattern from Quiltalicious
HUG & MOOCH BABY QUILT
On the first quilt she used only the X’s and added and extra row.

On the second quilt, she used the four O’s blocks and the scraps from the X’s to make a strip quilt!

If you want to make these two quilts you’ll need to add 1 1/2 yards of white to set the blocks.
