Tammy Harrison (the one on the bottom) is my Web Host (Jd Harrison) and Creative Director (BOM QUILTS) & (Quiltalicious).

She has made great changes to Abbi May’s!

Tammy is so creative and professional . I just love what she
comes up with! She knows I like grand kids, dogs, birds and flowers. She
suggested we update the header, front page and freshen up the colors. It turned out cute!

New rates went into effect: May 10, 2008. Here are some of the changes:

USA:

1st class mail small patterns (old $.57 new $.66)

1/2 yard: (old $1.50 new $1.66)

Flat rate priority envelopes: (old: $4.60 new $4.80) – Boxes (old: $9.15 new $9.80)

Canada: Flat Rate priority envelopes: old: $9.00 new $9.95

World: Flat Rate priority envelopes: old $11.00 new $11.95

Pattern Mistake: Boys will be Boys

Boys will be Boys free pattern from Troy/Riverwood.

My SIL and I were making this quilt (Boys will be Boys kit) last weekend and ran into a big problem: the instructions gave the wrong size for cutting the panel.

Look at the picture of the quilt – notice the small 1/4″ of blue inner border – well, the instructions say cut the panel 22 1/2 inches – when I did that it only left 1/4″ of blue and that’s not enough for this border. When we went to put on the middles borders we were 1/2″ short! So…. when you cut out this panel add 1/2″ blue around the edge or make the panel 23″.

I received a email from Sue, one of my Austrialian customers, and she was telling me how much she liked my picture of my little dog in the snow. She said it was summer time there and her pool was a little on the cool side 32 deg C or 90 deg F haha. They had just got back from a holiday (vacation) and wanted to share this picture with me of her very handsome son Harry!

FYI: Sue, we just got 12″of snow!
