Dazzale your tree with a festive skirt. Lisa England designed this tree skirt. It looks more complex then it actually is — it’s very quick and easy to piece from simple shaples.

As the presenting sponsor for the Heisman Trophy, Nissan has the privilege of casting one official vote for the winner of the Heisman Trophy. They represent the voice of the college football fan and invite fans to make their vote count on ESPN’s website.
The athlete with the most votes from fans will receive one official vote in the Heisman Trophy selection process. Heisman Trophy Winners are determined by votes from 924 electors representing sportswriters and broadcasters.
You can vote as much as you want every day! Javon was added to the list late so he needs all the votes we can give him to catch up. Please send this to as many Spartan friends as you can.
It was gorgeous out today and a great time to go the farmers market with a bright blue sky, no wind and it was even warm out!
This is the time of year for all the wonderful fall fruits and vegetables - apples, squashes, pumpkins and bees.
I thought I would share my trip there with you to our
Muskegon Farmers Market:

Don’t you just love gourds!

Weird! I never knew that Brussel sprouts grew like this:

Fun pumpkins!

Gigantic and little!

There’s always friends to visit with!

Every kind of apple that grows in Michigan was there!

This will make a lot of “cabbage rolls”

On the trip home I was treated to some fall color!

This is the new quilt kit: Butterfly Fling Throw
that I made into a puzzle:

and no - it’s not fatting! haha

Have you ever wanted to try making a rag quilt?
To make a shaggy flannel quilt, you sew your seams on the TOP of the quilt, not hiding them on the backs. You also sew the front of the block together with the back (and if you use flannel or batting to create a sandwich, you sew that with the blocks as well).
My friend Tammy H. from Quiltalicious -
made these quilts from her baby quilt patterns
