Houston Quilt Market 2008

Houston 2008!

I couldn’t go to Houston Quilt Market 2008 this year, but  my friend Tammy Harrison (BOM QUILTS) was going and said she could do some searching for me and could take pictures for new fabrics and patterns. She is very familiar with my taste because she designs patterns (Quiltalicous)  for me using my fabrics. She also was a walking advertisment for her new Quilt Dash.

My trip to the Farmers Market!

It was gorgeous out today and a great time to go the farmers market with a bright blue sky, no wind  and it was even warm out!
This is the time of year for all the wonderful fall fruits and vegetables – apples, squashes, pumpkins and bees.
I thought I would share my trip there with you to our
Muskegon Farmers Market:

Don’t you just love gourds!

Weird! I never knew that Brussel sprouts grew like this:

Fun pumpkins!

Gigantic and little!

There’s always friends to visit with!

Every kind of apple that grows in Michigan was there!

This will make a lot of “cabbage rolls”

On the trip home I was treated to some fall color!
