Royal Holiday Quilt Kit Update

I received a note from Moda and need to share this update it with you. If you have purchased a ROYAL HOLIDAY quilt kits  from me and need another panel let me know (linda@abbimays.com) I’ll send you one.

It has come to the attention of Moda that there is a correction for the pattern. The table runner in the  Royal Holiday Quilt Kit has the wrong mesurements.

Please measure the “jingle motif” panel before cutting.  Cut panel 23″ instead of 24″ as directed in the pattern.

So gals, the next time you’re quilting and do something wrong, don’t get to upset about it because even the “professional” quilters make mistakes!

Taking time to smell the Peonies!

I was taking a little break today by strolling through my garden.

Yup, there’s some weeding that needs to be done, maybe some re-arraning & pulling up those perineals that are very intrusitive, and did I say more weeding!

Here’s part of my garden, not many flowers yet, but in July, it’ll be at it’s peak.

Here’s what’s blooming now:

I found the rattlesnake (I think because he was so big about 15″ long) in our storage shed -
he was hissing so much, I think he thought I was going to eat him or he was going to eat me!

and this bumblebee was feasting on Peony!

Time to go back to work….Have a nice day!

Scooter!

My friend Mary, my sales rep for Blank Quilting, is getting the cutest little dog.

Her pooch is a Mi Ki - a “designer” breed - a mix of Maltese, Papillon & Japanese Chin - breeding out all the ‘bad’ characteristics like hyperness, untrainability, excessive barking and shedding - as close to the perfect dog as you can get - he should top out at around 5 lbs.

Isn’t he cute!

This little guy would fit in this new pattern from Blank Quilting - Woven Bag!

I’ll be getting these patterns and will have kits available soon.

It’s so easy to make - grandkids could do it!
