Hummingbirds!
I was looking at my new fabric Natural Garden - and noticed it had hummingbirds in it!

I wondered how these little birds where doing, we get them in June and they stay all summer. Here is a sure sign of spring coming - the humingbirds are starting to make their trip back up north! Here’s a fun link to see there progress:
Hi. It is “funny” that you should mention hummingbirds and their migration. I have been on the look out for them lately here in BR. They start arriving about March. As yet, I have not seen them. also migrating north are the robins. I hear them but have not sighted any yet. They are here for such a short time, and we enjoy them so and know you will be seeing them soon. Yep, spring is on its way! I have an abundance of pretty weeds in my yard, violets, wild strawberries, hepaticas, and others I don’t know the names of and wish they would go, but it keeps the yard green and colorfu.l.
The azeleas are blooming, those who have tulips, are blooming. I had one
daffodil. They were planted before we moved here, and they come up every
spring, but mostly, no flowers. They just don’t do well here, unless one has
lots of time and energy to plant and care for them. The japanese magnolia
has been in bloom and just about done. The red bud trees are in full bloom. I think it is going to be a gorgeous spring here. I just love it. Wouldn’t mom have loved it. I just found a letter she wrote me, left handed to wish me
happy birthday. So back to my day, hats to do today. love you. SIL J
